About Collen Maluleke
Collen Maluleke is an established South African gospel music artist, worship leader, producer, and pastor recognized for his cross-cultural contemporary sound. Born 10 September, 1988, he has built a reputation for creatively fusing traditional African gospel with elements of jazz, rock, and reggae. He began his professional musical journey in 2012 by founding the group Vertical Experience (VE) and serves as a primary worship leader at House of Treasures Ministries in Johannesburg. Known for his uncompromising approach to praise and worship, his ministry focuses on creating atmospheres that guide believers into deep corporate and personal encounters with God.
Throughout his career, Maluleke has expanded his footprint globally, collaborating with major international and local gospel figures, including Bishop T.D. Jakes, Dr. Juanita Bynum (for whom he served as musical director in Africa), Benjamin Dube, and the renowned collective Spirit of Praise. His discography features impactful live albums such as Open Heavens (The Pursuit) recorded at the Soweto Theatre, Grateful, Face 2 Face, and Word + Prayer + Worship. Constantly evolving his sound to deliver timely spiritual messages, his creative work also includes The Revival and an urban clothing line co-created with his wife, Pastor Mpumelelo Maluleke, highlighting his multifaceted approach to modern ministry.
