About DOE

Dominique Jones, known professionally as DOE (or DOE Jones), is a GRAMMY-nominated American gospel singer, songwriter, and musician. She was born on June 27, 1988. DOE's musical journey began as a teenager in the Christian gospel septet forever JONES, a family band that also featured her parents and siblings. The group released three albums and received multiple award nominations. After a successful tenure with the band, DOE embarked on a solo career. She is married to Orlando Palmer, and the couple welcomed their first child in late 2024. Her music is a unique and soulful blend of Gospel and Contemporary Inspirational Music, often incorporating elements of pop, R&B, and jazz. She is celebrated for her powerful and ethereal vocals, as well as for writing intuitive, honest lyrics that explore themes of faith, vulnerability, and hope. She gained significant attention as a solo artist with her collaboration on Jonathan McReynolds' hit single "Cycles," which earned her a GRAMMY nomination. DOE's solo work is released through Jonathan McReynolds' Life Room Label, in partnership with RCA Inspiration. Her discography includes the EP DOE (2020) and the full-length album Clarity (2022), which won a Dove Award for Best Contemporary Gospel Album.
