Jamie MacDonald

Jamie MacDonald is an American contemporary Christian pop singer and songwriter from Michigan, U.S., now based in Nashville, Tennessee. She is recognized for her powerful and soulful voice, and for crafting songs that are honest and inspiring, often drawing from her personal journey of faith and overcoming challenges. She began her career in 2014, initially releasing music independently under the stage name Jamie Lyn. She has also spent years working behind the scenes, contributing background vocals and vocal production for other artists, and writing music for film and television. In 2024, Jamie MacDonald signed with Capitol Christian Music Group (Capitol CMG). Her debut single under the label, "A Million Chances," was released on 15 November, 2024, followed by the hit single "Desperate" on 3 January, 2025, which charted on Billboard's Hot Christian Songs and Christian Airplay charts, topping the Christian Adult Contemporary chart. Her music is widely available on digital streaming platforms, and she is scheduled to tour as a supporting act for Benjamin Hastings in November, 2025.
