John Legend

John Roger Stephens, known professionally as John Legend, is an American singer, songwriter, and record producer. Born on 28 December, 1978, in Springfield, Ohio, he is celebrated for his soulful voice, piano proficiency, and hit songs that blend R&B, soul, and pop. He achieved widespread recognition in the early 2000s and is one of the few artists to have won an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony Award (EGOT).

John Legend's career has seen him associated with several prominent record labels. He first gained significant traction after signing with Kanye West's GOOD Music imprint, through which he released his debut album "Get Lifted" in 2004. He later signed with Republic Records/Universal Music Canada, releasing his album "LEGEND" in 2022 under this label. His discography also includes albums released with Columbia and Sony.
