Maryanne J. George

Maryanne Joshua George, known professionally as Maryanne J. George, is an American Christian musician and songwriter. Born on 8 October, 1992, in Queens, New York, U.S., she is recognized for her powerful vocals and heartfelt worship music. She gained significant prominence as a member of the Grammy Award-winning collective Maverick City Music, contributing to many of their acclaimed projects. She is known for her ability to connect with listeners through deep and reflective worship. Maryanne J. George released her solo debut extended play, "Not Just Stories," in 2021 via Tribl Records. This EP debuted on both the Top Christian Albums Chart and the Top Gospel Albums Chart in the United States. She has also released music independently. Her discography includes numerous collaborations with Maverick City Music and other artists, and she continues to release new singles, such as "Labor" (released in May, 2024), focusing on themes of womanhood and personal growth.
