Maverick City Music

Maverick City Music is an American contemporary Christian worship music collective and record label. Founded in 2018 by Tony Brown and Jonathan Jay, it originated in Atlanta, Georgia, U.S. The collective is known for its diverse group of artists and songwriters who aim to create inclusive worship music that breaks traditional boundaries in the Christian and gospel genres. Maverick City Music operates its own record label, also called Maverick City Music, and is closely associated with Tribl Records. They have also collaborated with other labels for specific projects, such as Fo Yo Soul and RCA Inspiration for their work with Kirk Franklin, and Elevation Worship for their collaborative albums.
