Nozipho Phiri

Nozipho Phiri is a South African gospel musician and worship leader. Born in 1990 in Empangeni, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, she is celebrated for her distinctive blend of contemporary and traditional church sounds. Her professional journey took flight with the internationally acclaimed gospel ensemble Joyous Celebration, where she served as a lead and background vocalist for approximately five years. Nozipho Phiri operates as an independent artist for her solo releases. She released her debut solo album, a live recording, in 2024. Prior to her solo endeavors, she gained extensive experience and a loyal following through her work with Joyous Celebration. Her music often emphasizes themes of faith and trust in God, and she continues to release new material and perform.
