About Odumeje
Chukwuemeka Cyril Ohanaemere, widely known as Odumeje, is a prominent Nigerian clergyman, musician, and a figure who often sparks public discussion. Born on 9 September, 1982, in Anambra State, Nigeria, he serves as the General Overseer of The Mountain of Holy Ghost Intervention and Deliverance Ministry, based in Onitsha.
Odumeje has gained widespread fame, and at times notoriety, for his unconventional and theatrical preaching style, which sometimes includes wrestling-like maneuvers during deliverance sessions, earning him nicknames like "The Wrestling Pastor" or "Indaboski Bahose."
Beyond his ministry, Odumeje also has a significant presence in the music industry, having started his musical career even before gaining widespread recognition as a pastor.
He's known for blending highlife and Afrobeat sounds into his gospel music. He has released songs like "Umu Jesus" and "Alabasidi," and notably collaborated with popular Nigerian singer Flavour on the track "Powers."
His charismatic and often controversial personality has made him a consistent talking point in Nigerian media, contributing to both his large following and frequent criticisms.
