Q Twins

The Q Twins are a South African Afro-pop duo composed of identical twin sisters Virginia Qwabe and Viggy Qwabe. They were born in 1997 in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. They rose to national prominence in 2019 after their participation in season 15 of Idols South Africa, where their unique sound and stage presence garnered significant attention. Following their appearance on Idols SA, the Q Twins signed a record deal with Afrotainment, a label owned by DJ Tira. Under this label, they released their debut studio album "The Gift of Love" in 2020, followed by "Words of Hope" in 2022. Their music blends Afro-pop with elements of house, gqom, and Amapiano, and they continue to release new singles and EPs.
