"Odogwu" serves as the powerful conclusion to the A New Thing EP, released on 23 January, 2025, through EeZee Conceptz Global. The title, an Igbo term meaning "Great One" or "Hero," is used as a divine attribute to honor the strength and majesty of God. As the final track of the six-song project, it functions as a definitive seal of worship, leaving listeners in a state of awe. Esther Oji delivers a vocal performance that is both reverent and intense, perfectly capturing the weight of the title she ascribes to the Creator. The track is characterized by its grand, atmospheric production, blending traditional Nigerian percussion with contemporary orchestral elements.
